It is one thing to start a Garage band and throw some tunes together. It is quite another to create a band from a brotherhood of musicians, all musical purists, who aim to write great songs that will last the test of time. "We Are Grace" is a band that aims to do the latter.
Formed in early 2007, the members of "We Are Grace" spent their first 12 months of existence bunkered down in a studio, writing and perfecting their songs before they were ready to share them with the world. Now all is ready, "We Are Grace" is ready to take on the universe and anything that
stands in their way. With a sound reminiscent of some of the old masters, the sounds of “Pink Floyd” and the voices of “Queen”, mixed with a fresh edge for today, the music of "We Are Grace" is grand, mysterious, sexual, beautiful and powerful.
Recently, having spent time in the recording studio with esteemed sound engineer, Lachlan Mitchell and "Something With Numbers" frontman, Jake Grigg, as their producer, "We Are Grace" have just finished their debut, self-titled-EP and it is the jewel of their musical crown. Perfectly encapturing the sound and feelings of "We are Grace", the songs truly show what this band is really capable of.
